The TDLR advisory board "provides advice and recommendations to the department on technical matters relevant to the administration" of Chapter 402 of the Texas Occupations Code. The Board also breaks down into Work Groups to study specific issues and provide additional information to the TDLR staff. The individual Work Groups are Enforcement, Licensing, Education and Examination, and Standards of Care.
